A two-year difference in an age limit, or five days on a deadline, decides whether you are eligible at all. Every page above states the conflict and links the official portal. Resolved on 10 October: the detailed RRB NTPC CEN 06/2026 settled the graduate closing date at 6 November and confirmed 21 participating boards, and revised the vacancy count from 3,477 to 3,548.

Common questions

How is my age calculated for a government job?

From a reference date set in the notification, not from the date you apply. It is commonly 1 July or 1 August of the exam year, and it differs between recruitments — so the same person can be eligible for one and over age for another. The age eligibility checker works it out for each open recruitment.

Is the fee deadline the same as the form deadline?

Usually not. Most central recruitments keep fee payment open a day after the form closes, but some do the reverse — BPSC TRE 4.0 closes fee payment a day before the form. Always read both dates from the notification.

Where do I find the official notification PDF?

Every recruitment page here links the recruiting body's own portal. We do not host copies of notification PDFs, because departments revise them and a stale copy is worse than no copy. The official portals directory lists verified addresses for every major board.

Why do different websites show different last dates?

Because departments issue corrigenda, extend windows, and sometimes replace an advertisement entirely — BPSC's Advertisement 15/2026 cancelled its own 14/2026. Aggregators that copied the first version never update. Where we find a conflict we publish both figures rather than guessing, and the dates in dispute section above lists the current ones.

Is DC Job a government website?

No. DC Job is an independent information site and is not affiliated with any government department or recruitment board. We summarise notifications and link the official source so you can verify everything yourself. Applications are always submitted on the official portal, never here.

Do you charge anything?

No. Reading this site, and every tool on it, is free. We never ask for payment, documents or personal details, and no legitimate recruitment board asks you to pay an agent for a form.

How to check anything you read here

Recruitment information goes stale quickly, and a wrong date can cost a year. Three habits worth keeping:

  • Open the official portal link on any page before you act on a date or a fee.
  • Check the advertisement number — a replaced advertisement, such as BPSC 15/2026 over 14/2026, changes the conditions.
  • Read the last verified date on each page. Ours is printed on every article.

DC Job is not a government website and is not affiliated with any recruitment board. Where sources disagree, we print the disagreement rather than resolving it silently. Found something wrong? Tell us — corrections are published with the date.
