About DC Job
DC Job is an independent website that tracks Indian government recruitment: which forms are open, which results have been declared, and which admit cards have been released.
It is run by one person, not a newsroom, and every page says where its information came from.
Why this site exists
Government recruitment information is published across dozens of department websites, each with its own layout, its own notice board and its own habit of burying a corrigendum three clicks deep. A candidate preparing for two or three exams can easily spend an hour a week just checking whether anything has changed.
The aggregator sites that solve this problem mostly solve it badly. They copy notification PDFs into thin pages, rarely correct anything, and frequently carry dates that were superseded weeks ago. A wrong closing date on a site like that costs somebody a full recruitment cycle.
How a page here is made
Each notification page is written after reading the original PDF released by the recruiting body. The dates, fee, age limits, vacancy figures and eligibility conditions come from that document, and the notification reference number is printed at the bottom of the page so you can check it yourself.
Where public reporting disagrees with itself, and it often does, the disagreement is stated on the page rather than resolved silently. If one source says a recruitment has 13,706 vacancies and another says 13,757, you are told that, and told to confirm on the official portal. A candidate is better served by a stated uncertainty than by a confident wrong number.
Several sections carry more than the notification does: realistic in-hand salary rather than basic pay, cut-off history rather than this year's figure alone, and the document errors that actually get applications rejected. That material takes longer to write, which is why this site grows slowly.
Who runs it
DC Job is published by Shadab Rao, who builds and runs websites in India. Editorial decisions, verification and corrections are all handled by the same person. If something on this site is wrong, there is no committee to hide behind.

What this site is not
It is not a government website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Staff Selection Commission, any Railway Recruitment Board, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, any Public Service Commission or any other recruiting authority.
It never collects application fees. Those are paid only on the recruiting department's own portal. Any website that offers to take an application fee on a department's behalf is not legitimate, and you should not use it.
Nothing here replaces the official notification. Before you pay a fee or appear for an exam, open the official link on the page and read the original document.
